WANA: Eight Frontier Constabulary officials were injured in a remote-controlled bombing on Tank Road in Manzai on Monday, sources said. They added that unidentified people planted the bomb on the road, 25 kilometers north-west of Manzai.
“Eight personnel sustained injuries in the blast,” an official source said, adding that the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Tank. Hospital sources said that two of the injured were in a critical condition. Police sources said the FC vehicle had left the FC Fort in Manzai and was heading to Peshawar when it was targeted. The police and security forces had launched a search operation in the area. However, no arrest was made until filing of this report (23:49am).
