Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmed Shah has said that visa policies are being made translucent and severe safety steps have been adopted at the airports to thwart illegal travel.

Interior Minister said visa policies are being made translucent and severe safety steps have been adopted at the airports to thwart illegal travel. He also said that improving visa facilities is one of the top priorities of the government of Pakistan.
Earlier, Pakistan relaxed the visa requirements for 48 countries, including Brazil, Germany, Iran, Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, China, Sri Lanka, Australia, and Denmark. Travelers from the listed countries will receive visas for a period of three months initially.
However, citizens of some prominent countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, India, and Afghanistan won’t be able to benefit from the new visa regime.
